This Is Not My Party

AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY FOR ALL WHO SAY

Family Values. Individual Rights.         Small Government. Public Safety. Freedom from Government Intrusion. Fiscal Responsibility. Respect for Life.

What happened to our party? The Republican Party used to fight for everything I care about. But not anymore. So this time, I'm using my vote to tell the party I've had enough.

Our government is spending more money than ever. In fact, next year, they’ll spend almost $1 trillion more than it takes in. That’s the highest deficit ever.

We’re in a trade war that hurts us more than them. We’re risking market access to the 95 percent of the world’s consumers who live outside the US. The tariffs are leading to higher prices on things we buy everyday.

Our farmers are getting $12 billion in corporate welfare that they don’t want and we’re borrowing money from China to pay for it.

Our wages still aren’t going up – but our health care deductibles are.

And thousands of military families are relying on food stamps to get by.

But instead of fighting for Republican priorities, our party leaders waste time and money defending unethical hacks.

  • Rep. Duncan Hunter (Calif.) used campaign money to pay for five affairs. When charged with 60 counts of conspiracy and wire fraud, he blamed his wife because she “handled” the books.

  • Married father Rep. Tim Murphy (Penn.) talked about the sanctity of life. But when he got a 32-year-old pregnant, he told her to get an abortion. In a text.

  • Speaker Dennis Hastert (Ill.) just got out of jail for molesting four boys in the 1970s and paying hush money to keep it a secret. The judge called him a “serial child molester.”

  • Rep. Rod Blum (Iowa) is under investigation for lying about his role in an Internet company that helps dishonest medical companies hide their health and safety violations in online searches.

  • Rep. Scott Taylor (Va.) is under investigation for telling his staff to add dead people’s names to ballot petitions.

  • Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore lost his election in ruby red Alabama when allegations of sexual misconduct with teenage girls emerged.

  • And Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens resigned after just 18 months when his Republican colleagues found he’d forced a woman to give him oral sex.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR PRIORITIES? When did the party of Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln become the party of bad life choices? Our leaders have turned a blind eye to bad behavior – they only do something about it when it becomes public. And while they waste time defending corrupt politicians who do not reflect our party, the national debt is at an all-time high, we are playing games with our international markets.

THIS IS NOT MY PARTY.

Republican Women are the backbone of the party – we’ve provided the margin of victory in every winning presidential election since 1952. It’s time to say enough.

This time, I’m using my vote to send a message to party leaders. These people do not represent my party.
